Look I am baaacckkk!!
Oh how long it has been since I was on here! I really thought that I would do this and do it well. I have the answer: I did it badly. Hazel will be three in less than a month, Eliot will be five in May. Christ I have a kid that is almost in kindergarten.
Yesterday's inauguration was amazing no? I got goose bumps was choked up all of it. The only spoiler was the idiot in the coffee shop looking to get in an argument. I rose above his stank though; when he realized that no one in there cared about his BS he finally left muttering about who knows what. His sad sorry life, mmm maybe.
All my closest colleagues were as happy as I was yesterday not sure what the rest of the CO thought.
My sister is due any day. Her actual due date is the 25Th and she thinks that she will go till February 1st. Ha ha for her I hope so. They do not know if it is a boy or girl which is cool if you are into that sort of thing:) No I am truly so happy for them and cannot wait to meet the new little one. They do finally have a boy name picked so that is good. I have a pretty good idea what the girl name is but haven't thrown out my guess. It is their surprise! We threw a baby shower for her a week ago and I keep meaning to get the photos ready for her but shocking I have done nothing of the sort. I seem to live in this weird land of procrastination. I lived by that in college, always waiting to the last minute and that sort of thing. I think I really believed that I did my best work under pressure, what a crock.

We have of course been very busy around here. We decided to tear out the built in closet contraption in Eliot's room to make room for a second bed in there. So now Eliot and Hazel are sharing a room. working out ok, hard when they are both sick to get them to sleep and then keep them there. But we are working at it.

pumpkin patch and Halloween

How cute are these little superheroes? Spiderman and Batman. It was pretty cute to hear Hazel saying trick or treat. Of course she would only say it between houses no way would she say it to people for candy! Luckily her big brother was looking out for her and would get two pieces of candy at every house so that Hazel wouldn't have to ask!

Is it really November?

Sorry for the long time between posts! For those that actually check this anyway. I started a new job which I won't mention on here to avoid being fired! But I am loving it and it is full time so I have not been able to post as frequently as I would like. That and our computer died. Eliot and Hazel are still at that their same school which is causing the same problems but we just don't want to uproot them from their friends. Eliot has been in the same class with his friend Paul since he was 7 months old. Hazel started there at 3.5 months so it is hard to think about them elsewhere. The drive downtown is a pain though!
Hazel is talking all the time now and will repeat most words back. Eliot still cracks me up with the thoughts that he has and how he puts it all together. He likes playing with all the neighbor kids
