Well it is almost June! Eliot had the most fantastic birthday ever! Thank you to all who made it. He had a wonderful time. Hazel has been doing really well, her 'wound' healed well and she is super funny. Her new favorite game is to 'get' Eliot. She runs up and hugs him and won't let go. Eliot asked me today how birds fly, I was stumped by his great question and told him that they have wings. He is also very interested in the names of Portland's bridges and wants to drive over the Broadway or Steel. He loves hanging out with friends and family and delights in pestering me with why questions.
I will be the big 30 on Friday and it is something that I have looked forward to for awhile. We are taking the kids to the coast for the weekend. I want to fly a kite and just play. I am ready for Jon's busy season to be done!
